Designed for kids aged 6–12 learning to surf, the Alberto features a versatile fish-tail shortboard shape with the volume of a large fiberglass shortboard in a size that's easier to carry, paddle, and maneuver. Combined with its performance fin setup, it helps young surfers progress faster than traditional soft-top boards.

SHARKGUARD

Six epoxy-coated specialized magnets are embedded beneath the HDPE slick bottom, projecting a magnetic field into the surrounding water. This magnetic field overwhelms a shark's electroreceptor sensory system, causing discomfort and encouraging it to move away without causing harm.

Sea Camo Zebra Striped Bottom

In addition to the patented SHARKGUARD technology, the Zebra Striped Sea Camo HDPE bottom provides a visual shark deterrent. Research by a University of Western Australia neurobiologist suggested that zebra striping can make objects more difficult for sharks to identify by mimicking non-food sources in their environment.
